And now, a little bit about us:
We are Troop 312 and our sponsoring institution is the Fremont First Presbyterian Church, located at the corner of Park and Garrison Streets in Fremont, Ohio.
We meet most Monday Nights in the basement of the Church. If you are interested in stopping in to visit with us, check the date on the Calendar (there is one on this page) to make sure we have a meeting on the night you are interested in. We usually take the Monday after a Camping trip off. On those Mondays, our Troop Committee and Patrol Leader Council (Boy Leaders) usually have meetings.
Of course you can always use the contact information above to let us know about your interest.
We are an active Troop, and usually go camping once each month during the school year. In the summer we always spend a week at Summer Camp, usually at the Pioneer Scout Reservation, located in Pioneer Ohio. You can check out some of our boys in action by visiting our Photo Album.
There are also opportunities for boys to participate in exciting "high adventure" activities as they get older. Some of these would include: Philmont (backpacking or horseback riding in the mountains of New Mexico); Florida Sea Base (spend a week on board a boat off the coast of Florida); Northern Tier High Adventure Base (canoeing in the wilds of Minnesota); Blue Ridge Mountain Scout Reservation (backpacking in the mountains of Virginia), and many others.
It really can be the adventure of a lifetime!
